Made it!!!

Had a good trip into Havana.  Was able to change money at the airport. The airport is 35 km from the city Center. $25 cab ride. Staying at the hotel roc presidential.  Cool hotel probably 1930 era.  Checked in and then sat by the pool in shorts and tea shirt and had a couple of crystal - local beer.  Great Cuban bands playing.  About 22 c.  Took a walk by the sea wall.  Feel very safe here.  Lots of teenagers out on the streets.  The wifi at this hotel is $4 an hour so I will try to find a hot spot to post at.
