Great day in old Havana

Well we had a great day in old Havana.  It was like stepping back in time.  It has retained much of its old Spanish colonial style.  Narrow streets usually terminating at some square or plaza.  The locals are friendly and easy going.  Not a lot of the usual tourist trappings and pressures.  We were free to roam the streets largely unmolested.  $2 for a beer and $6 for a good meal and we felt safe and secure.

The oldest cathedral

These strays were everywhere and had tags saying they were spayed and free to roam.

Typical street scape

Ask me about the street performers

Lots of cool old cars

And cool art around every corner
